Ferry F10 | MS Wannsee | Wannsee-Kladow-Wannsee

On behalf of BVG

With 300 measured spaces, 60 bicycle parking spaces, 5 wheelchairs and a seat for dwarfs, it is the largest ferry on Berlin’s waters. The ferry is barrier-free and fulfills the wish of many Berliners for greater capacities for bicycle transport. After all, the ferry connection is part of the European cycle route.

The MS Wannsee was built after only 8 months of construction by the shipyard Deutsche Industrie-Werke GmbH in Berlin-Spandau.

With a hydraulic exit platform on both sides, a quick and comfortable exit is guaranteed for all passengers. For worse weather conditions, the ship is ice-reinforced and has a one-man radar control station for fog driving.

Main ship data:
Length overall: 45.00 m
Width overall: 7.60 m
Draft: 1.00 m
Number of passengers: 300 (including 152 seats)
Propulsion power: 2 x 240 kW
Fixed point height: 4.25 m
Bow rudder: 35 kW
