Ferry F10 | MS Wannsee | Wannsee-Kladow-Wannsee
On behalf of BVG
With 300 measured spaces, 60 bike parking spaces, 5 wheelchair spaces and a seating area for little people, this is the largest ferry operating on the Berlin waterways. It is fully accessible and fulfils the wishes of many Berlin residents for greater capacity for carrying bikes. After all, this ferry link is part of the European network of bike trails.
The MS Wannsee was constructed in just 8 months by the Deutsche Industrie-Werke GmbH boatyard in the Spandau district of Berlin.
It has a hydraulic exit platform on both sides, ensuring that all ferry passengers can disembark quickly and conveniently. The boat is strengthened to withstand ice and has a one-person radar operating platform for navigating in fog, so it can cope with poor weather conditions.
