1889 Start of operations with 17 steamers.

1911 carrying more than 3 million passengers
The 1914-18 war and recession years lead to declines in passenger numbers. Unused vessels are sold.
1934, for economic reasons, the Spree-Havel-Star Steamship Company set operation. Ships, docks and shipyards will become the property of the Teltow canal AG, it is the star and circle the shipping Teltowkanal AG.

1939-45 In the chaos of war is the biggest part of the ship's inventory of the star and circle shipping lost or seized in the subsequent period and removed. 1999 Full takeover of the Stern und Kreis Schiffahrt GmbH by the Hegemann group.
2000 new building of the luxury ship MS Sanssouci
2001 reconstruction and modernization of the commercial building in Treptow and extension of MS Luna.

2002 Ship Park: 26 passenger ships with about 7,700 seats, 6 and 80 ferry landing in Berlin and Brandenburg.
2003 Construction of the passenger ship MS and MS Brasil Belvedere
2004 Acquisition of MS La Paloma, the largest passenger ship on the Havel. The fleet expanded to 30 passenger ships.
2006 Construction of passenger ships, MS Stern and MS group.
